Los Angeles, California – Within the following week, local government officials of Los Angeles County will vote on a proposed emergency vaccine crackdown.
If approved, businesses that operate within an indoor environment will be required to ask their patrons for proof of their vaccination before they can enter. The type of businesses that would be affected by the crackdown would be bars, retail stores, restaurants, gyms and etc. The approval would place Los Angeles County with two other major cities that have already started vaccine restrictions: San Francisco and York City.
Reuters reports, “The Los Angeles County Unified School District has issued an order requiring all teachers, staff and students at least 12 years old to be inoculated by Oct. 15 unless they can establish a religious or medical exemption.”
